Relaxation Breathing Technique
Massage therapists and practitioners find that their clients are not breathing correctly. Aside from the massage, a part of my job is to help you find ways to relax. Learning to breathe correctly will help you relax, both your body and your mind. Although, all that is really required is to be mindful of your breath. When you are focusing on the natural flow of your breath, you are being mindful, and you are in a sense, meditating, and then everything begins to quiet down.
Relaxation is an exercise, a technique to help combat the effects of stress. Most of us have endured a lot of stress over the years and sometimes the body has difficulty returning to its natural state of relaxation. Part of the reason for this is that we tend to ignore the signs of stress or minimize the effects a stressful event has had on our lives.
Using relaxation techniques regularly can decrease the likelihood of heart attack and stroke, and can significantly reduce the incidence of a second heart attack. Protects you from more serious physical/mental health problems. Improves your immune system. Aids memory, learning and just makes you feel better.
